We are slowly but surely approaching Black Friday, but you can already get a bargain or two in the digital stores. While browsing through the current eShop offers, I stumbled across a title that I already know, but that I would definitely like to recommend to you for the current top price.

To be fair:You don't have to pay almost 60 euros for LEGO City Undercover anywhere, you can get it significantly cheaper even outside the offer period. Under 5 euros is still a very good price for the game.

In LEGO City Undercover you take on the role of police officer Chase McCain, who has to put escaped crime boss Rex Fury back behind bars. You explore the open-plan LEGO City, complete main missions or collect stones to build super buildings scattered around the world.
Chase can put on various costumes throughout the adventure in order to use associated actions. As a crook he can pry open doors or as a miner he can blow up rocks. These skills have to be combined again and again, similar to GTA, Chase can also use the vehicles driving around the city to make faster progress.
I never tire of recommending LEGO City Undercover because I consider it one of the best LEGO games of all time. Because here the makers of TT Fusion didn't have to adhere to certain licenses and therefore specifications and you can tell that in the title.
LEGO City Undercover is brimming with great ideas, funny humor and allusions, as well as varied tasks, that just writing these lines makes me want to play the game again.

In direct comparison to the PS4 and Xbox One versions, the Switch version is slightly inferior in terms of technology; among other things, there are longer loading times and more edge flickering. But that doesn't change my recommendation for the game. At this super price at the latest, everyone who doesn't know the game yet should definitely catch up. I promise you: it's worth it!
