For over 100 years, Lego building blocks have been a part of every well-stocked children's room. Over the last 25 years, the Danish company has built up another decent foothold with video games. For this top 10, we delved into the history of Lego titles and chose the best and most important. We are not interested in which license they belong to, which genre they belong to and how commercially successful they were.
Platz 10: Lego Star Wars: The Videogame
The big bang of a success story: Although Lego Star Wars: The Videogame was not the first game with a block license, developer Traveller's Tales celebrated its debut with it. As we know today, this marked the beginning of a long, fruitful collaboration in 2005 that continues to this day. The first Lego Star Wars game covered the prequel trilogy. A second part, depicting the original films, followed later. From the typical slapstick humor to the jumping and collecting mechanics: Lego Star Wars already contained all the trademarks that largely continue to this day.
