The announcement on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4's remakes delighted the fans this week. As with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, there is also a colorful mix of old figures and new skaters this time. But it looks like a veteran of the scene could be removed from the games.
The list of athletes who are inIt is already impressive: Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Steve Caballero, Kareem Campbell, Geoff Rowley, Andrew Reynolds, Elissa Steamer, Chad Muska, Eric Koston, Rodney Mullen, Jamie Thomas, Rune Gilfberg, Bob Burnquist, Rayssa Leal, Chloe Covell, Jamie Foy, Zion Wright and Yuto Horigome.
This is not even the complete character field, but one thing is already noticeable: Bam Margera, Jackass and icon of an entire generation, is missing in the list.
As can be seen from various reports, he will actually not be represented in the remakes. A first harbinger of this was already the fact that he was in the new editions offrom a poster for Tony Hawk's underground 2.
Also in the film Jackass Forever published in 2022, Margera was only minimal to see, he was fired during filming. The reason was the use of various substances and excessive alcohol consumption. Since the death of his Jackass Mitstreiter and best friend Ryan Dunn, Margera had had to deal with massive addiction problems.
It is not finally clarified whether Bam Margera will really be missing in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4. We can be excited, but the signs indicate that we do not need to count on him.
