There were already rumors about a new edition of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Switch 2 - and these are now getting new fuel.
Before the year 2024 comes to an end, there will be plenty of rumors about the Switch 2. The Switch and Wii U classic The Legend of Zelda: Breath ot the Wild also plays a role, because it is actually supposed to be a drilled one received a new version for the fresh Nintendo hardware.
Corresponding rumors were already doing the rounds earlier in 2024, even after Nintendo is said to have shown a technology demo of this game on the new hardware behind closed doors. There has of course been no official announcement to date, but there are increasing signs that there is some truth to these speculations.
New relevant information comes from well-known Nintendo insider Samus Hunter, who hasn't always hit the mark in the past, but has recently. Among other things, he leaked the announcement of Xenoblade Chronicles X for the Switch 24 hours before the official confirmation.
According to the insider, there is “work on a better version of Breath of the Wild” for them. However, Samus Hunter emphasizes that he doesn't know exactly how this potential remake will be handled.
