For the release of The Last of Us: Part II Remastered for the PC, Naughty Dog has some new content jumping - also on PlayStation 5.
As is well known, the new edition of The Last of Us: Part II will also come to the PC. Naughty Dog uses this opportunity to donate fresh game content to the remaster, which are not only reserved for the PC, but also published for PlayStation 5.
If the PC version on April 3, 2025 in cooperation with Nixxes software that is responsible for porting appears, then there is fresh content to discover in survival mode "No Return". First there would be two new playable characters in this mode, namely Bill and Marlene from The Last of Us: Part I.
Bill relies on a smuggler play style, which therefore receives double rewards from drops. It is more against melee attacks, but cannot dodgen. Marlene takes a risk-like manner, relies on a Custom Asssault Rifle and often goes into all-or-not-fights.
In addition to these two characters, four new maps are also planned in "No Return", which are overlook, school, streets and nest. Overlook plays over the city of Seattle and is characterized by a high degree of verticality, but School is located in an abandoned primary school where Ellie and Dina meet on the WLF. In Streets, it is known to you in the overgrown neighborhood of Hillcrest in Seattle and Nest, players of Abby, because here you have to fight yourself through an infected building.
On the PS5 there is the whole thing via update to the PC release; There you can also look forward to "new trophies and additional bug fixes". Under what conditions the new trophies can be earned is not yet known, but they are probably related to the new no-return content.
