Work continues on Star Wars Outlaws in the Ubisoft Massive hangar. The latest title update is due out on Thursday and now there are more details about it.

At launch, Star Wars Outlaws made quite a crash landing and stayed. Although it was by no means a bad game, the fans still found enough to complain about and Ubisoft Massive promised improvements.

We have already completed a few updates and the upcoming title update 1.4, along with the first story DLC Wild Card, is intended to bring the game further into shape. In a new dev blogCreative Director Drewrechner commented on some of the details of the update. And the developers have turned a few screws.

"First, we updated the stats for all weapons and enemies to make headshots more rewarding, and adjusted the armor and health of all enemy types to differentiate archetypes and make them more noticeable. We also added vulnerabilities to enemies, allowing you to do this "To take out tough enemies with a well-placed precision shot at just the right moment."

Furthermore, the weapon feedback is being massively reworked to improve gunplay. Recoil, rate of fire and ammunition have been adjusted, as have audio, effects and UI. Some weapons have even been completely remodeled, like the Ashiga ABR-2 Zato Blaster. And it doesn't end there: "Next, we reviewed and improved the usefulness of weapons. For Kay's Blaster, we added the power module's ability to hit cover and take out enemies hiding behind it. We have that too Updated Ion Module to stun enemies for longer and make them vulnerable while stunned."

Weapons that Kay finds in the field can now be used for longer, which is a popular fan request, according to the calculator. The cover system has also been revised; among other things, you can now change the shoulder view. You can find out whether all the changes actually improve the game from November 21st, when Title Update 1.4 is released.
