Shortly after the announcement as part of the State of Play, the supposed launch of Sonic Racing: Crossworlds is already leaked. Which characters can you look forward to in the fun racer?
As part of the PlayStation State of Play this week, Sonic Racing: Crossworlds announced a new fun racer to record it with Mario Kart in the future. A short time later, it seems to be determined which cult characters you can fall back on in the races.
Overall, the game should apparently start with 23 characters from the history of the Sonic franchise. These were briefly visible online before removing the corresponding information from the network. The majority of these characters can already be discovered in the recently published trailer. After the release, Sonic Racing: Crossworlds is to be supplemented by numerous other characters - then also from other franchises from Sega.
In addition to this launch-roster, the fun racer has 24 main tracks, including 15 Crossworlds, who need so-called travel rings to get to them. 45 vehicles are also available for choice for the races.
There is still no release date, but the platforms are already solid with PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch and PC. A closed network test increases in advance from February 21 to 23, 2025.
