The next resident evil classic is apparently faced with a re-release. This was now leaked through an age classification.
Capcom recorded success with new editions of Resident Evil Immense - and one could now apparently continue to build on them. A new ESRB age classification suggests that a comeback from Resident Evil 5 is now on the plan.
Resident Evil 5 follows the story of Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar in West Africa, where Las-Plagas virus created a new zombie army. In addition, several ghosts of the past are plagued by Chris when old allies and enemies also appear out of the shadows.
Thanks to the downward compatibility of Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, Resident Evil 5 is basically already available for the current generation of consoles. However, the ESRB rating suggests that there will now be a new, optimized version.
In addition to Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 6 and Resident Evil Origins have also received new ESRB ratings; Several Resident Evil classics obviously celebrate their comeback on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and potentially also the Switch 2.
