2K and HB Studios officially announced PGA TOUR 2K25 today and will soon continue the long-standing golf series.
Golf fans among you have reason to be happy because the latest installment in the PGA TOUR 2K series from HB Studios and 2K is coming soon. The two companies have now officially announced this for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on February 28, 2025. The cover will feature Tiger Woods, Matt Fitzpatrick and Max Homa; The latter also makes its debut in the video game series.
The latest part of the series aims to develop further in many areas and, among other things, introduces the new EvoSwing mechanic with a variety of new shot types, ball flights, roll physics and visual improvements. Career Mode is set to be more immersive and customizable than ever before, with a whole host of new creation tools awaiting you.
At launch, the title will feature a roster of 11 male and female professionals including Tiger Woods, Max Homa, Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Lydia Ko, Tom Kim, Brooke Henderson and more. There are also 29 licensed courses to start with, including The Players Sadium course at TPC Sawgrass. Other additions to the new game include the 2025 US Open at Oakmont Country Club, the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow, the 154th Open at Royal Portrush Golf Club and more.
After release, The Old Course in St. Andrews will be added as part of Season 2. Anyone who wants to design their own courses can do so with the course designer, which is provided with new tools, interfaces and objects.
You can buy PGA TOUR 2K25 not only as a standard edition, but also as a deluxe edition and legend edition; The latter two editions enable, among other things, seven days earlier access in the form of early access from February 21, 2025. Otherwise, various in-game content is included in the form of cosmetic DLC packs and, in the case of the Legend Edition, also the Member's Pass Activation of the Clubhouse Pass Premium included.
