News - Palworld: Roadmap reveals the content planned next

PocketPair has a lot of new content planned for Palworld and has now specifically named it in a new roadmap.

Despite the legal dispute with Nintendo and The Pokémon Company over possible trademark infringements, PocketPair continues to work on the successful title Palworld and wants to add lots of new content to it in the coming months. The studio is now providing all interested players with an overview of the plans via a new roadmap that has now been published.

In a social media post, the further early access plans for the survival game are specified and, among other things, hint at a boss scenario and co-op cross-play on the supported platforms. There are also further improvements to the gameplay and further collaborations, such as the recent one with Terraria, are being planned.

The specific features planned for Palworld include:

  • Koop-Cross-Play
  • World Transfers for Pals
  • Final boss/conclusion scenario
  • more ways to strengthen and improve Pals
  • various new content such as new Pals and technologies
  • Collaborations with other games (similar to Terraria)

According to the creators, these are the planned larger updates for Palworld, although the order is not specified any further and no release dates are initially given. In addition, other minor improvements are planned, including with regard to the placement of objects, the base pals, the interface and other optimizations.

To date, the title has received two major updates with Sakurajima and Feybreak, each of which brought new islands and new Pals. The most recently released Feybreak update in particular proved to be a blockbuster and drew players back into the game in droves. At its peak, after the release of this content update on Steam, the number of players increased again to over 212,000 gamers at the same time.
