The once well-known shooter series Painkiller celebrates your comeback! A new series part will be launched this year.
The older ones among us may still remember the shooter series Pinkiller, who was once popular. As part of the Future Games Show, the comeback of this franchise was finally sealed last night. Developer Anshar Studios and the Label 3D Realms belonging to Saber Interactive have officially introduced a new Pinkiller with a trailer.
The shooter franchise is expected to return on the platforms PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in autumn 2025 and then characterize a quick gameplay, a meta-soundtrack and fight with sometimes brutal weapons in both solo and co-op mode.
In different biomes you will be dealing with different terrifying opponents. For this, you have both classic weapons from the Pinkiller series and new buzzes. The opponents include hordes of various demons or monstrosities such as the children of Azazel, the Nephilim. With Tarot cards you can upgrade skills in the course of the game.
The game is played as a single player or together with friends in the co -op, whereby you have the choice between four different characters: Ink, Void, Sol and Roch. These have their own perks to vary energy, health or damage output. You can play with up to two friends online, offline also with bots.
Pinkiller does not yet have a specific release date beyond the flat rate of autumn 2025. You can take a look at the first trailer.
