The Switch 2 will be released on June 5, 2025 and the pre -orders already indicate another record start for the Japanese from Nintendo. The number of devices available is therefore not bad, but the demand in the context of the pre -orders clearly exceeds the offer that was initially available. How many players cannot be served in detail ultimately also depends on the respective region. Above all, in Japan, it does not look so rosy as reported.
Earlier Nintendo consoles such as the original Switch or the Wii were also difficult to get in the first few weeks after the release. Nintendo had therefore already raised the capacities for Switch 2, but still does not seem to be able to reach sufficient quantities.
