Amazon has announced the new Season 7 in New World: Aeternum - and here you can find out what awaits you in January.
With the “Season of the Conquerors” the seventh season in New World: Aeternum awaits you in the new year. From January 21, 2025, Amazon Games has planned all sorts of new content for the role-playing game, including seasonal worlds, PvP challenges, seasonal events, exclusive rewards and more.
The aforementioned seasonal worlds make their debut in the game. These are new starting worlds with unique game rules, items and abilities that are intended to make the experience exciting and worthwhile. In each coming season there will be new seasonal worlds, each with a different theme. Season 7 will begin with a PvP-focused world that will make it easier to get started with PvP.
“Crassus’ Legacy” is now available as a seasonal event. In it you can then take on the Roman general Crassus and his monstrous Cyclops henchmen. Meanwhile, “Revenge of the Rabbit” returns, another event that will spread plenty of chaos. Finally, another seasonal event awaits you with "Sulphur Siege", in which you can team up with a maximum of 10 players to defend sandworm eggs against waves of sulfur elementals.
According to official information, an overview of further innovations in Season 7:
- New Season Pass Rewards– Season 7 Season Pass offers both free and premium series filled with exclusive items. The free reward series is available to all players and contains unique cosmetic items, while the premium reward series offers the opportunity to earn additional rewards for 20,000 Lucky Tokens.
- Preview weekend for the new Outpost Assault map- Season 7 offers the opportunity to explore the updated Outpost Storm map before its full release with a special preview weekend. Adventurers can explore a deep trench that runs through the battlefield and build bridges to strategize before the map opens to PvP combat.
- M3 expedition improvements– M3 Expeditions are challenging end-game PvE content that takes place in the depths of Aeternum’s most dangerous dungeons. Players must defeat fearsome enemies and solve complicated mechanics to earn rewards. Season 7 brings important changes to M3 Expeditions, including shared mutations allowing players to use a single loadout across all M3 mutations, activity finder integration for quick matchmaking, and improved rewards.
- New artifacts- Players can equip a variety of powerful new artifacts, including the Doom Gauntlets: Fracture, Life Staff: Heceta, Ice Gauntlets: Ötzi, Rapier: Dorgort's Blade, and Earring: Justice.
