News - Monster Hunter Wilds: Due to PSN failure: Second Open Beta is extended

The PSN failure at the weekend has a direct impact on the second open beta test phase of Monster Hunter Wilds. Capcom will now extend it.

The PlayStation Network had to deal with major problems at the past weekend and failed for a long time. This is of course annoying - and that applies in the case of Monster Hunter Wilds. An open beta test phase took place at the weekend at the weekend, and the interested players were able to take part in significantly less size.

Capcom had therefore already announced steps to check whether one could not make a balance here - and that's exactly how it happens. The second open beta test phase that had previously planned the next weekend is now being extended.

As a reminder: Time shifts are left out, the first beta test phase from February 6th to 9th and a second open beta was planned from February 13th to 16th, 2025. Due to the PSN failure this weekend, the test phase will now be extended accordingly. This runs from February 13th at 7:00 p.m. PT until February 17th at 6:59 p.m. PT. Due to the time shift, the beta period is now February 14, 2025 from 4:00 a.m. to February 18 at 3:59 a.m.

Although of course only PlayStation players were affected by the PSN failure, the gamers on the other platforms also benefit from this extension. The second open beta is also extended accordingly on the Xbox and Steam.

In the beta test there is a new training mode, cross play, Gypceros, Arkveld and all previously available content.
