The successfully launched Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will also be provided with fresh content in the new year 2025. The makers have now given a first look.
Saber Interactive wants to continue to build on the previous success of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and has planned plenty of new content for the coming year 2025. A first glimpse was now given as part of a roadmap that was published on the official blog. Previously, Space Marine 2, released in September 2024, had already broken the 5 million player mark.
The big update 5 with some new features was only released on all supported platforms in December. This was accompanied by the Operation Obelisk and The Dark Angels Chapter Pack. New game modes and changes to the PvP mode will follow in the new year.
There will be a new closed quarters app in PvP, and a horde mode awaits you in the PvE area in the future. There are also new operations, new enemies, a larger Battle Barge expansion and the Salamander Champion in the Sniper class.
Unfortunately, concrete dates for the planned content in 2025 have not yet been set. Support for the game with new content should generally extend at least until 2026.
