Bungie could plan a large-scale beta test phase for the new shooter marathon in summer.
Just a few days ago, Bungie presented the new Shooter Marathon in more detail. From tomorrow on April 23 to May 4, 2025, a first closed alpha test phase is already underway, in which only selected players can take part in a manageable scope. This in turn could change in summer.
Before the release of the game in September, an open beta test phase in the area of the possible should be possible. This is now reported by Paul Tassi from the renowned magazineForbes. An open beta is therefore expected to be expected for August. Then pre -orders of the full version in various editions should also be possible.
Tassi also comments on the pricing of the game, which has been largely a mystery to date. It can currently be assumed that marathon is expected to be in the price region of $ 40 - similar to Helldivers 2 or the flopped concord.
Marathon is to be released on September 23, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. A, however, will not be completely excluded for the future.
