Contrary to the previous assumption, Bungie's new title Marathon was not to be seen on the Playstation State of Play. Why actually?
Last week Sony broadcast his first big Playstation State of Play and presented numerous upcoming titles for the PS5. It was generally assumed that the developer studio Bungie, which belongs to Sony PlayStation, would then be represented with his upcoming title Marathon, but there was no trace of the PvP extraction shooter. Apparently there is a certain reason!
The first big project from Bungie according to Destiny 2 should apparently receive a complete showcase, which is why one probably refrained from a short appearance on the State of Play. In any case, this emphasizes the well -known and reliable insider Jeff Grubb fromGiant Bomb. In the new edition of the showGame Mess Decideshe stated that such a marathon show case can be expected for April this year.
This in turn would also fit the previous handling of bungie, because the studio regularly makes its own thing and accordingly also its own shows. The strategy of then aiming only at your own interested players in such events is continued this year.
Marathon was first presented by Bungie in 2023 and is not part of the studio's older marathon trilogy from the 1990s. After Bungie used to celebrate success with Halo and now with Destiny, the expectations of marathon are accordingly great.
