The new Farming Simulator 25 has been available for a week - and the new part of the popular series is already extremely successful again.
GIANTS Software has apparently hit the mark again with Farming Simulator 25, as the latest series offshoot is already back on the road to success shortly after its release. According to official information, the game sold over 2 million times on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S within the first week.
What's remarkable: Compared to its already successful predecessor from 2021, there was a significant increase in the release week. Farming Simulator 22 sold around 1.5 million copies in the same period; The increase in sales figures is therefore more than 30 percent.
The good start could already be suspected on the release day, when the game on Steam left all other new releases behind. At its peak, more than 125,000 virtual farmers came there at the same time to gamble. Over the course of the weekend, this number even increased to over 135,000 gamers. This doesn't even include players on consoles.
To ensure that success is sustainable, the makers want to constantly deliver new updates and expansions for the simulation in the future. In addition to paid content packs, there will also be free content updates and patches to fix errors. In this context, the Year 1 Season Pass is already available, which includes a total of three official packs and a larger expansion.
A full three years have passed since its predecessor. The new Farming Simulator 25 offers a variety of innovations. In this video we want to show you in detail what developer Giants Software has packed into the game.
