Let's continue in the long-running Dead by Daylight: Behavior Interactive has published the next chapter of content with "Doomed Course" - and here you can find out what awaits you.
“Doomed Course” is available now for the horror hit Dead by Daylight; With the new chapter, the game ventures into unknown waters after the success of the last original chapter "All Things Wicked".
The dog mistress, who is intended to be reminiscent of the era of pirates and privateers, is represented in the game as a new killer and is driven by a mad desire for revenge. She is always supported by her loyal companion Snug, who is the first AI-controlled animal character in the horror game. You can use Snug to track down survivors or unmask them.
The dog mistress also has the following talents:
- All-shattering thunder: You never know where a chase can lead. When the canine mistress drops from a height, she temporarily gains an extended lunge, which she can use to quickly close the gap to her prey.
- Scourge Hook: Serrated Compass: After being suspended from a hook, a survivor becomes a scourge hook. When a survivor is attached to a Scourge Hook, the generator with the most progress will briefly appear.
- No quarter: The mere thought of the Dog Mistress' return is so intimidating that the survivors are completely shaken. Every time survivors almost complete a self-heal, they are bombarded with a series of difficult skill checks. If these fail, they will be punished with the status “Broken” for a certain period of time.
There is also a new survivor in this chapter, namely Taurie Cain. As a long-time member of the Black Claw, a nefarious sect that believes the entity holds the key to humanity's survival, she is the morally darkest survivor in the title.
Taurie Cain also has three character-specific talents:
- Summoning: Treacherous Crows: Spending time in the shadows has its benefits. Players can start a summon in the basement to be injured and have the Broken status for the rest of the trial. However, from this point on, the killer's aura becomes visible to all survivors as soon as he disturbs a crow.
- Smooth cut: After healing another survivor, players will gain the Broken status when healed by another survivor. If they manage to survive long enough, they will regain their lost life points.
- Shoulder the burden: Once per test, provided they are not stuck on the last hook, players canShoulder the burdenactivate before rescuing a survivor from the hook. If he is rescued, he loses a hook level and the person rescuing gains a hook level, screams and is thus exposed for a short time.
The new chapter is rounded off by two new outfits, which are intended to further emphasize the aspects of the new characters' personalities. And: The Junji Ito collection includes eight outfits from another horror icon penned by the Japanese writer in Dead by Daylight.
