Dark Souls III has now been around for more than eight years and for many Soulslike fans it is still considered the best game the genre has ever seen. A new edition seems more than obvious and according to insider information, we will soon be getting a remastered version.
But how do we come up with the idea that a remastered version ofis developed? The rumor was circulated by insider “Speshal_Nick” from XboxEra in their current podcast. Of course, he himself doesn't just grab the supposed information out of thin air, but his source is certainly dubious. He surprisingly received a private message telling him about the remastered version.
However, Nick holds back on specific details, probably because he doesn't really know any more. A remastered version of Dark Souls III doesn't seem completely unlikely, after all, the first part of the series was given a makeover.didn't reinvent the game, but offered enough technical improvements to justify another deadly journey.
The rumors surrounding a remastered version of Dark Souls III are definitely causing heated discussions in the community. Of course, there are many fans who are happy about a pimped-up version. However, some also note that there is already a 60 frame patch and that the game is not old enough to justify the makeover.
On the other hand, real resistance, born of anger, takes shape in the-Community. As is well known, fans of the PlayStation-exclusive From Software title have been waiting for a technically improved version for years, but so far in vain. A fan on Reddit hits the heart of the statement: "Dark Souls 3 Remaster before Bloodborne? We're living in a Dark Souls loop."
Despite all the understandable anger from Bloodborne fans, it should of course be said again that these are just rumors.
