Actually, on March 20, the third season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 & Warzone should start, but nothing will come from it - it only starts later.
Anyone who was looking forward to starting the new season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 & Warzone from March 20 will be able to do something else for the time being. Nothing becomes from the planned start. As Activision announced on X/Twitter, the start is delayed. April 3 is now set as a new appointment for the start of the season.
The reason is given: "The third season is a big moment for Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 6, and we take the time to offer you a great experience from April 3.."
So seem to give a few problems with the new content. Further information on this is to be named as part of Warzone's fifth birthday next week.
In general, it is assumed that the third Season should also come back into play with the original Map Verdansk, which according to Activision was planned for spring 2025. This is confirmed by the fact that the first content creator already had the opportunity to play the new Verdansk as part of play tests.
So it sounds very likely that the optimizations around the introduction of the map take even more time than originally planned. It is also likely that the new Verdansk will be presented on March 10 at the Warzone celebrations. This is also confirmed by a countdown in the CoD store, which counts on this date and has "The Verdansk Collection" in the title.
So it will be interesting to see what awaits us in Season 3 and how well the new implementation of Verdansk will be received by CoD fans. Rumor has it the reintroduction of Verdansk the last attempt to save the stumbling war zone that has had to deal with falling players in the past few months.
