Riot Games skillfully holds back with concrete information about the fighting game 2XKO. There are a few gameplay videos, we know about part of the roster, that's pretty much it. Now there is actually a longer radio silence. Good for the team, bad for the fans?
Well, are you already looking forward to your Christmas vacation or have you already turned your back on the office? The employees at Riot Games seem to be feeling the same way at the moment, as the studio has now announced a radio silence regarding the fighting game.
Accordingly, we shouldn't get the next update on the development status of the beater until February 2025. The post on Twitter (blabla, X) promises more information for March 2025. This is pretty exciting for one reason.
Because Riot Games announced the next playtest for 2XKO for spring 2025. March and February also fall during this period, so perhaps the developers will announce the test phase in February and start it in March. But these are just our own speculations, nothing is set in stone here!
If the playtest actually takes place, a playable character should be confirmed: Jinx! The blue-haired gun fanatic was introduced with a gameplay trailer in November 2024. So far, Riot Games has often shown fresh characters and then made them playable during events. This is what happened with Yasuo at Evo 2023 and Braum at Evo 2024.
It will also be interesting to see which new characters Riot could introduce to us for 2XKO in February 2025. Finally, some time ago, some content creators were allowed to travel to the company's headquarters and, in addition to Jinx, tease a few other, previously unannounced characters.
Jinx is now also doing the honors in the LoL fighting game 2XKO.
