This success was a decisive factor in Star Wars: Hunters getting a PC version. So says Yaron Leyvan, executive vice president of games at Zynga (quote viaIGN):
The success of Star Wars: Hunters on mobile devices and Nintendo Switch led to our decision to expand the game to PC. This is something our fan community has been asking for and we are excited to welcome even more players to Vespaara. This moment also marks a milestone for Zynga as we bring one of our games to PC for the first time.
Two playtests planned
The PC version is intended to improve the game technically and visually. These include, among other things, higher resolution textures and higher rendering quality. Support for keyboard, mouse and wireless controller is also added.
Early Access is scheduled for January 27, 2025.However, players can get started beforehand. There will be two playtests on Steam from December 13th to 16th, 2024 and January 10th to 13th, 2025, for which registrations are currently underway - you can find details about themon the game's Steam product page.
The press release suggests that Star Wars: Hunters will also be ported to other platforms. But there are no details yet.
