Samsung Unpacked 2025 mit Galaxy S25
Almost needless to say, Samsung will introduce its trio in the form of the S25 series:
- Galaxy S25 Ultra
- Galaxy S25+
- Galaxy S25
Dieare expected to be low. Inside, Qualcomm's top processor Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy is supposed to ensure high performance and efficiency values.
In the camera department, an ultra-wide-angle camera with 48 megapixels is expected for the S25 Ultra. This would allow Samsung to catch up with the competition. For the most expensive model, Samsung apparently continues to use a special display glass: Gorilla Glass Armor. However, the manufacturer is planning to install a second generation that will provide better protection against scratches and other signs of wear.
In terms of hardware specifications, more RAM and a satellite connection are also considered likely.
Software at the center of the Unpacked event
About a year ago, Samsung made a big splash with Galaxy AI. So it makes sense that Samsung has a few arrows of this kind in its quiver again this year.
The official teaser videos also reveal what we could expect in a few days: Bixby. The voice assistant should be nothing less than a “real AI companion”. But the slogan may also represent the entire AI suite.
Like the youngest oneVideosuggests the smartphones will offer better low-light performance for the camera. Further camera improvements are also planned.
The manufacturer is also likely to be more specific about One UI 7 based on Android 15 and possibly give a release window.
Is the Galaxy S25 Slim coming?
Newfrom Samsung show that the smartphone under development should be 6.4 millimeters thin (159 x 76 x 6.4).
Smartprix writes that it is possible that the slim version will be presented at the Unpacked event on January 22nd. However, a release in May 2025 (or later) is more likely. It is quite possible that Samsung is preparing a short teaser for the Galaxy S25 Slim.
Two possible surprises
In addition to the three or four smartphones, at least the teaser of the Galaxy Ring 2 should be in the starting blocks. After all, the manufacturer already showed which gadget it was working on with a small teaser last year.
The smart ring will be equipped with more precise sensors for health monitoring. Better AI functions and longer battery life, which again varies depending on the model, are also probably on the agenda.
Additionally, Samsung may give us a closer look at its planned augmented reality glasses. We are excited.
