Just a few days ago, Samsung presented the new ones at its Unpacked Event. However, there is apparently no calm for the manufacturer, as it won't be long before the next smartphone models are launched.

HowSammobilereports, the manufacturer is currently planning the market launch of the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56. Both mid-range cell phones could go on sale as early as mid-March.

The information comes from tipster Abishek Yadav, who published a corresponding post on X (formerly Twitter):

Small design changes

Render images and technical information have already appeared for both cell phones in the past few weeks and months.

The design changes are therefore limited. The biggest one probably concerns the main camera in both models. While the A35 and A55 still had individual lenses protruding from the back of the housing, the successor model apparently relies on a connected camera island.

Both smartphones should offer thin display bezels and a punch-hole for the front camera. In addition, both models probably come with the “Key Island”, which was introduced in the Galaxy A55. The volume and power buttons are located in a small bulge in the housing frame.

Main camera with 50 megapixels

Both Samsung phones are rumored to have a front camera with a resolution of twelve megapixels. The sensor of the main camera should have a resolution of 50 megapixels. In addition, the rear optics should be equipped with optical image stabilization.

The Galaxy A56 is also said to have an ultra wide angle with 12 megapixel resolution. There is no information yet about the other lenses on the A36.

Processor, battery and operating system

When it comes to the processor, the Galaxy A56 and A36 probably go their separate ways. The A36 is said to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, while the Galaxy A56 is said to be equipped with Samsung's own Exynos 1580 processor.

The battery installed in both cell phones should have a capacity of 5,000 milliamp hours and support fast charging with up to 45 watts.

Both models are expected to run Android 15 and the manufacturer's own interfacebe delivered.
