At PS Plus Essential, every month means a lot of comings and goings. In December 2024 you can once again look forward to some game highlights that you can play and save in your library at no extra charge. You can find all important information about the new titles here.
When can I download the PS Plus games in December 2024?Already onDecember 3rdthe time has come. You can then add the new games to your library at no additional cost. But you shouldn't wait too long, because new titles are expected to be available from January 7th.

Aliens: Dark Descent

In single player real-time strategyYou control a team of marines and fight for your survival on the alien moon Lethe. In extensive levels you face enemy mercenaries from the greedy Weyland-Yutani Corporation as well as the fearsome Xenomorph. The latter are powerful super beings, some of which make their debut in Dark Descent.
To stay alive, you have to allocate your resources, create safe zones, unlock shortcuts and assess risks. You should act wisely, because all your decisions can have a long-term impact on your game world.
To prevent your soldiers from being filleted by your enemies, you can equip them with different armor, weapons and advantages. As you develop your base, you can continually research new equipment and kick your opponents' asses.

It Takes Two
In the co-op adventureYou control a quarreling married couple who were transformed into little dolls by a magic spell and taken away to a wondrous world. Your task now is to get back home.
However, this requires cooperation, because in the varied 3D levels you will always encounter puzzles and other tasks that you cannot complete alone. (Available for PS4 and PS5.)
Temtem
is a colorful MMO in which you can catch 165 different monsters and pit them against each other in battles. Your goal is to become the ultimate Temtem tamer. To do this, however, you have to defeat all eight dojo masters in a duel. (Available for PS5.)
Which games are being removed from PS Plus Essential?
New games come, old games are removed from the subscription. You only haveuntil December 2ndTime to download the following games on PS Plus Essential:
- Death Note Killer Within
PS Plus Premium subscribers were able to enjoy the survival horror classics Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 last month. However, unlike other PS1 ports, these could not be purchased separately from the PlayStation Store. That has now changed and PS4 and PS5 users can now alternatively buy the games for 10 euros each.
