Kingdom Come 2 will be a genre milestone - at least in the first 10 hours

The second most famous Heinrich in recent entertainment history (Heinrich Lohse from Loriot's "Papa ante Portas" remains unsurpassed) is currently training for his comeback: for the release of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 on February 4th, blacksmith's son Heinrich will once again adventure across the Bohemian Middle Ages - and on this comeback there are high hopes.

Can the second Kingdom Come build on the strengths of the first - or even surpass them? Will the best role-playing game of 2025 await us in February?

Our new presenter Iris discusses this (you can find out more about heron YouTube) in a talk with Heiko and Dimi, who have already played Kingdom Come 2 for hours.

GameStar Talk: All videos and podcasts at a glance

Together they discuss (spoiler-free) about the story, quests, gameplay and of course the open world of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Or rather the open worlds, because Kingdom Come 2 will have two separate game worlds this time.

You can see what Heiko and Dimi liked and what they are still worried about in the video above, or you can listen to it here in the podcast:
