In the display of the Switch 2, Nintendo calls the enlargement to 7.9 inches (previously: 6.2 inches). As a resolution, native 1080p is available on an LCD screen, which should run with up to 120 fps. HDR support is also on board.
The docking station of the Switch 2 can play compatible (!) Games with 4K resolution. For this purpose, a separate fan is integrated in the dock to keep the console cool.
- In games such as the announced Metroid Prime 4 you can choose between a quality mode with 4K resolution at 60 fps and a performance mode with 1080p resolution at 120 FPS.
The SD cards that include your games should be much faster as a "MicroSD Express" variant in data transmission. Speaking of transmission: You can transfer your data from your original switch to the new console wirelessly.
In order to offer the corresponding storage space for your games, the Switch 2 also offers 256 GB of internal capacity.
Nintendo Switch 2: What games are there at the start?
Of course, Nintendo did not miss the opportunity to present the first first party titles right at the start of the Direct preview to make it on the Switch 2. Among other things, there are the following exclusive games for the launch of the new console:

Of course, the Zelda universe should not be missing here. Both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom receive their Switch-2-own version. The highlight: For example, you will receive a voice navigation via your smartphone that should lead you through Hyrule.
The "Nintendo Switch Online" also receives some new additions - in the form of selected Gamecube classics. F-Zero GX (Maxe will be happy), The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker or Soul Calibur 2 are on board directly at the start of the Switch 2.
Also at the start of the Gamecube games is the associated controller, whose purchase requires NSO membership.
