The year 2024 is coming to an end, after all, Christmas is just a few days away. Who onecan display a kind of annual review via Connect.
Although the unusual effects of other providers are missing, the manufacturer is not stingy with the important details and the extent of the processing. If you are not yet familiar with this function, you will find all the information here.
Note on data protection: If you create an account with Garmin Connect and allow the data to be synchronized between the smartwatch and the app, the personal data ends up on Garmin's servers. Smartwatches can also be used without data transfer. However, some functions are then not available or are only available to a limited extent.
The manufacturer itself states that it does not sell personal data to third parties.

Unfortunately, there is currently no way (yet) to view the annual review on the smartwatch, let alone view it in detail in the smartphone app. So you have to use your browser, whether it's a laptop, PC, tablet or smartphone.
- Opens the websiteconnect.garmin.comand log in with your access data.
- Now select the “Reports” menu in the left sidebar.
- Now click on the “Progress Overview” item at the bottom.
- Filter for “This year” in the selection menu at the top.
Your data for 2024 will now be displayed. The highlight: You also have the opportunity to compare your data with that of the previous year. To do this, filter by “Group by years” under “Progress overview”.
You can also use the last filter to sort the selection by individual activities. If you want to further evaluate your data, a CSV export is available for download at the top right.

In addition to annual progress, the Connect website offers other reportsthat may be interesting for you. In addition to fitness data, you can also access sleep and health data.
