How do I incorporate an M.2 SSD into the PC?
Don't worry-SSD installation is easier today than to build Ikea shelf.
Step by step to the SSD upgrade:
- Switch off the computer and separate from the electricity(Yes, that's important!)
- Slide the side part from the housing- mostly done with two screws
- Find M.2 slot on the mainboard- is often "M.2" next to it, lies flat and has a small screw thread at the end. The M.2 slot is usually below.
- Insert SSD slightly slanted (approx. 30 ° angle)and press down
- Fix the small screw- not too firm, but safe
- Assemble the PC, start, check SSD in BIOS
- The PC automatically recognizes the SSD- In most cases you don't have to do anything!
