The iPhone manufacturer is apparently still working on a health coach who will help with health questions, among other things. The rumor is not entirely new. The first indications were already there.

Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhones, unless you are in the. Then Apple Intelligence will also come to Germany, among other places.

The new addition to the Health app may await us in 2025.

Apple iPhone: health service based on AI

What exactly might such a service look like on the iPhone?Concrete details are still scarce. In 2023, there was talk of an AI-based service that would encourage users to exercise more, take more steps a day, change their eating habits and improve their sleeping habits.

In order to make tailored suggestions, the coach collects data on heart rate, breathing rate and sleep. The service could be offered as a subscription, similar to Fitness+.

Journalist Mark Gurman has rehashed these rumors in his latest newsletter and speaks of an “AI-based coaching service,” which is anything but absurd and not new either (via Techradar). Other manufacturers of various health gadgets also offer such services, such as Oura or Whoop.

Which also speaks for it: Apple is investing heavily in the health features of its products. In addition to a diary app for the iPhone and new fitness features for the Apple Watch, the Cupertino manufacturer is also including its in-ears.

According to rumors, the company plans to equip the AirPods with health monitoring sensors.

Introduction with the iPhone 17?

If Apple plans to launch such a service, the company will most likely announce it at WWDC 2025.

The newest, along with the iPhone 17 series, is expected to be released in September. The function will therefore not land on compatible iPhones until September at the earliest, unless Apple announces the Health Coach with “Later this year”.
