Update 12.03.25:The second half of the UCL round of 16 has started and here Barcelona has so far been able to secure a ticket to the quarter-finals, with which Dani Olmo gets the next upgrade. Previously, Odegaard, Olmo, Szoboszlai, Zhegrova, Digne, Gigot and Adarabioyo secured their first RTTF upgrade with a win/draw in the round of 16. Boniface and Szoboszlai have so far been eliminated and therefore without chance of further upgrades.

FC 25 RTTF Upgrades explains: When and how Road to the finals cards in EA Sports FC 25 rise
The "Road to the Finales" event accompanies the co-phase of the UCL, UEL, UECL and UWCL and donates selected professionals of the participating clubs one of the coveted RTTF special cards that can improve several times in the course of the competitions, provided the players meet certain conditions with their teams. You can find out below how the RTTF-upgrades work in detail and when players get an improvement.
When and how do RTTF cards rise in EA FC 25?
As with every promo, the RTTF players in FC 25 increase in individual or more attributes (speed, shoot, fit, dribbling, defensive and physique), which automatically increases their overall rating if they are selected EA Sports for the Road to the Finale Event and your card is officially in the game (initial upgrade). Theserve as the basis here, although it is quite common for selected professionals to get several improvement cuts at once, which - depending on the basic ranking - means an improvement from +1 GES to +10 SEE compared to the basic card.
Furthermore, new primary or secondary positions, star upgrades of the special values "weak foot" (SF) and / or "Special Movement" (SB), new and / or improved playstyles as well as new and / or improved roles are also possible with the initial upgrade. As a rule, EA Sports deals very economically with these improvements in RTTF professionals, since they can get other upgrades.
Can RTTF cards get more upgrades in FC 25?
Yes! RTTF cards aredynamic itemsthat get further improvements after their initial upgrade if the professionals with their teams get a round in the respective competition. The following table shows you the possible upgrades and corresponding conditions:

If a professional who qualified for the final already has a playstyle+, he/she receives a second playing style+.
(**) The professional who wins the final can reach a maximum of 96.
The evaluation phase for upgrades runs from March 4, 2025. The professionals do not necessarily have to actively participate in the match for an upgrade qualification, the team performance counts in the end.
- When do not rise RTTF cards
- RTTF players do not get any improvement if:
the team of an RTTF player leaves the respective tournament.
The RTTF player changes the club.
- When will RTTF cards be upgraded in EA Sports FC 25?
- We assume that EA Sports also maintains the times for RTTF-upgrades from the past few years in FC 25, which works as follows: If an RTTF professional qualifies in its respective UEFA competition for an upgrade, its card in FC 25 always increases at the end of the week (Friday), after all matches of a round of the three UEFA competitions are completed. Accordingly, we assume the following appointments for RTTF-upgrades:

- March 14, 2025 = FC 25 RTTF-upgrade from UCL, UEL, UECL Eachtelfinals Round 2
