In some recordings it is said to have now become clear that the cigarettes were apparently long gone. Joe Vogel explains.

Even though the group was probably sure that they had completely emptied the plane, Fritz Meinecke thinks he knows better. The group always seems to have overlooked the cigarettes in the cockpit. All luggage was also found by the participants.. But what really happened to the cigarettes is what Joe Vogel tells us in his reaction to the consequences. You can watch the clip here:
After the cockpit was filmed again in one of the last episodes, you couldn't see a cigarette pack, just a stub. It was suspected that one of the participants must have taken these cigarettes away. Joe Vogel, however, sees the local fauna as being to blame:
I'll tell you because it was actually already visible. No one found the cigarettes, even though the plane was beaten up. And at some point the cigarettes were gone and the animals that were responsible were actually animals that could no longer find food due to a change in the weather and now, like Sandra, have the monkey.
That would definitely be possible, but some viewers are skeptical. In the comments under the clip, not everyone wants to believe Joe Vogel's words. TikTok user CRUS83 questions why the animals don't leave anything behind: "Then why don't you see tracks in the snow or tobacco crumbs everywhere?“. Other viewers suspect that Joe Vogel may have hidden her from the others himself.
We may never get a clear answer to the question. The season is now coming to an end and the first questions are arising about a possible fifth season.
