Don't worry, here's a simple step-by-step guide so no one misses out on their Twitch recap.

Whether you were an enthusiastic viewer or a creator - Twitch's recap not only provides insights into your own activities, but also impressive statistics for the entire platform. This year, Twitch had over 21 million active streamers, with a total of more than 20 billion hours watched. That's over 2 million years ago, when people's ancestors had just begun to walk upright.
This is how you see the Twitch Recap 2024:
- Go to the Twitch Recap website:First you have to get the official oneTwitch Recap Websitecall. This is specifically set up to look back on 2024 and allows you to view your personal statistics.
- Sign in to your Twitch account:To view your recap, you must log in to your Twitch account. This is the only way Twitch can access your data and give you a detailed overview of your activities.
- Choose your recap:On the website you can choose between three different recap options: Viewer, Creator or Community. If you've spent more time as a viewer, you'll get your viewer recap, while creators can see their own streaming numbers. If you haven't had sufficient activity in any of these categories, you can at least take a look at the community recap.
- Enjoy your review:Once you've selected your recap, Twitch will show you a series of highlights. You'll see your favorite streamers, the number of hours you've watched, and maybe one or two surprising details about your streaming year. No viewer or creator recap? The Twitch Community Recap is waiting for you!
No own recap?But not everyone who is on Twitch automatically receives a recap. Anyone who has spent at least 10 hours on the platform in 2024 as either a viewer or creator will receive the exclusive review. Those who either haven't invested enough time yet or simply want to access one of the other categories can still check out the Community Recap - a look at the platform's collective records.
Requirements for the recap:If you don't see the viewer or creator recap option, it could be because you haven't been active enough on the platform in the last 12 months. To access the recap, Twitch requires at least 10 hours of accumulated watch time as a viewer or similar streaming time as a creator between December 6, 2023 and December 2, 2024.
Community Recap:No recap for viewers or creators? No problem. Twitch still offers the Community Recap, which provides some fascinating statistics about the platform as a whole. Here you can find out how many hours were streamed in total or how many new streamers became active on Twitch in 2024.
