Stand:
The toughest season of 7 vs. Wild has come to an end and left behind memorable moments. The biggest highlight, however, came from Joey Kelly.
No matter whether it's the group conversation about Stefan's behavior or the worrying pickup of: From incomprehension to disgust, the Crashed edition ofevoked almost every viewer emotion. The most discussed topic was without question the fire that broke out in the participants' sleeping place. It will forever be this situation that will be remembered for Season 4. And yet: The greatest moment came shortly before the end –.
That was the biggest highlight of 7 vs. Wild: Crashed
Survival also means pushing yourself to your limits. Joey Kelly, however, went even further in episode 15 of season 4. Not just in a metaphorical sense, but also actually. Because when he was looking for a backpack in the mountains, the 51-year-old simply walked 400 meters further than he had to as the crow flies - after he had already hiked 1.3 kilometers uphill. In no other scene was the joy for a participant so great when Kelly finally found what he was looking for on the way back.
It's not just the distance that makes this tour so impressive, but also the other circumstances. The two-time 7 vs. Wild participant performed this feat of strength on the 13th day in the wilderness, completely starving. Due to the wintry weather conditions, the climb was snowy and therefore anything but sturdy. Once at the top, a thick veil of fog made visibility difficult. But for Joey Kelly there is no reason to turn back. Instead, he marched forward for hours until he was almost near the summit. As a viewer, the fact that all of this almost didn't pay off was almost pitiful. The feel-good moment was even greater when there was a happy ending.
But the moment not only brought tension, emotions and a respectable performance, but also had a more or less funny punch line. Back at the campsite, Joey Kelly discovered that there were two enormously large stones in the backpack he had found. But even the extra weight of his luggage couldn't stop him on his exhausting trip. He may have done himself a disservice, but for 7 vs. Wild he definitely provided the biggest and most impressive moment of the entire fourth season.
