When will the PS Plus games for February 2025 be revealed?
Fortunately, Sony is returning to the pattern that has been tried and tested for years for the new month - insomething different and unexpectedly weak. The announcement of the new and hopefully better PS Plus Essential games and the download to your PS5 and PS4 libraries will take place on these dates:
- Wednesday, January 29, 2025:The official announcement of the new free games is expected to take place around 5:30 p.m. German time.
- Tuesday, February 4, 2025: From this day onwards, PS Plus subscribers can download the new PS Plus titles for free.

PS Plus February 2025: Predictions and speculation about the free games
There are no leaks or leaked insider reports from the likes of billbil-kun/Dealabs about the PS Plus games so far, but the community is already speculating eagerly. The predictions are based on a pattern that Sony often follows: games with upcoming sequels or planned expansions often end up in the PS Plus Essential subscription in order to increase the reach of the brands and stimulate interest in new titles. Here are some possible titles that could be included in the February lineup:
- Assassin's Creed Valhalla: With the upcoming release of the postponed, in February 2025 it would make sense to offer the previous part “Valhalla” on PS Plus to increase interest in the series.
- Doom Eternal: Facing What's ComingThe predecessor could serve as a free title to get players excited about the new release.
