Fortnite Chapter 6: Map – new POIs and features
New map:With the “Fortnite Chapter 6” update, a brand new map appears in the game. There are numerous new locations and features on the map. From classic Japanese temples to a giant suspension bridge, the new POIs promise a lot of variety. There will also be a large wandering turtle on the Fortnite Chapter 6 map. Fortnite Chapter 6 brings new medallions, weapons and Oni masks to the game
New bosses:There are two new bosses spread across the Fortnite Chapter 6 map: Shogun X and Nightrose. If you defeat them, you will receive a medallion with a special ability. Shogun X's Wanderer Medallion gives you infinite stamina and invisibility while sprinting. The Night Rose Medallion ensures that your weapon reloads automatically. New weapons:Of course, there will also be new weapons in Fortnite Chapter 6. But there is a big change for the new chapter: the weapons are hitscan. If your crosshairs are on your opponent, a hit is guaranteed. There will also be a samurai sword. This gives you more stamina and lets you carry out strong melee attacks in quick succession. Ony-Mask:In addition to the two bosses, demons are also scattered around the map in Fortnite Chapter 6. These drop an Oni mask instead of a medallion. Here too there are two different ones. The Fire Oni Mask lets you shoot fire projectiles at your opponents - these cause a lot of damage. The Void Oni Mask, on the other hand, allows you to teleport. Both are super strong items.
In addition, there will also be ghosts, which will give you a small bonus. If you bring these to a shrine you will receive a blessing. This is a permanent buff that lasts the entire game. With a blessing you can reload or run faster. Soon maybe even in a Yakuza or Tekken look:
Fortnite Chapter 6 comes with new Battle Pass and Movement mechanics
Other changes:Another highlight in Fortnite Chapter 6 are the new transportation options. There will be a total of four new movement mechanics: diving jumps, rolling landings, wall kicks and wall running. In the “Fortnite Chapter 6” trailer you were able to take a first look at the new mechanics. With these, players should have more freedom when playing.
There will also be a new battle pass for Fortnite Chapter 6. This now costs 1,000 V-Bucks instead of 950. As always, you will receive many new skins and other cosmetic items in the pass. You have until February 21st to unlock all items. A Godzilla skin will be unlockable in the form of Battle Pass missions in January.
