Diablo 4: Season 7 — Witch Powers and the Whispering Tree
What's new?Season 7 is themed around witch powers and the mysterious Whispering Tree. Diabolo veterans may feel like the Witch Doctor3 reminds you, because exploding frogs and piranha tornadoes are back - this time in the form of new magical abilities that you unlock through the so-called "Season Journey".
Another key feature is the introduction of Occult Gems, gemstones specifically designed for jewelry that further enhance your witch powers. There are also eight new unique items, legendary affixes and three new runes. You can also look forward to a practical innovation: the armory, in which you can save up to five different builds per character and change them at any time - free of charge. More
Diblo 4: What will you get in Season 7?
Blizzard ensures that you don't have to start from 0. However, you shouldn't expect any big changes compared to the previous season with these things that will remain with you:
- Renown:All previously unlocked Renown rewards such as gold, Obols and bonus levels will remain with you. Partial progress from previous seasons or the main game is also carried over.
- Map and Altars of Lilith:Your previously revealed card and activated Altars of Lilith remain in place. This means that you can jump straight into the adventure with useful stat buffs.
- Endgame unlocks:If you have already completed the campaign, end-game content such as Capstone Dungeons, Helltides, the Whisper Tree, and your mount will be available immediately.
These adopted elements make it easier for you to start the new season and, above all, save time that you can use for the really new content.
Diblo 4: You have to grind this again in Season 7
Despite the relief, there are still enough challenges to keep you busy. You have to work out the following again in Season 7:
- Level up:You start with a new character at level 1 and have to work your way up to level 60 without the campaign bonuses.
- Side quests and dungeons:This content will be reset and provide you with a new opportunity to collect Renown.
- Witch powers:To unlock the new abilities, you must complete headhunts as part of the season journey. These quests will lead you to the lost heads of the Whispering Tree that haunt the world of Sanctuario.
- Occult Gems and new items:These also have to be earned through farming and defeating powerful opponents.
A few more tips for the perfect start to Season 7
Season 7 not only offers exciting content, but also a homage to previous titles in the series. With witch powers, new events and balancing adjustments, you'll be offered a fresh experience. In order to be optimally prepared, it is recommended that you have completed the following steps before the start of the season:
- End campaign:This will unlock the entire map and give you access to all endgame content.
- Renown the farm:Activating the Altars of Lilith is particularly worthwhile as you receive permanent stat buffs.
- Explore the map completely:Discovered waypoints make it much easier for you to get started in the new season.
