Stand:
On November 15th, 2024 there was a small update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, ingame.de summarizes the patch notes.
Many Call of Duty players:should after thatbeen pleasantly surprised. Suddenly you could activate old XP tokens from previous CoD titles in the shooter's menu. Nobody expected this and as it now turns out: neither did the developers. The error was fixed with a small update, the patch notes are available here. With a little trick you can still use the XP tokens.
CoD Black Ops 6: Update removes XP tokens – Patch Notes
How to activate the XP tokens?Black Ops 6 now refuses, but the tokens can still be activated in CoD Warzone. This also applies to Black Ops 6. Start Warzone, activate a token and switch to BO6. When it comes to CoD tokens, always keep in mind that they expire in real time. If you activate a token at 2 p.m., it expires at 3 p.m.
Fixed an issue that incorrectly allowed older XP tokens to be activated in the Black Ops 6 UI.
What else is in the update? There were minor adjustments and bug fixes. So far, only players on the PlayStation have had 12 loadout slots, although after the joint cooperation between CoD and PlayStation expires, everyone should have the same number. The playlist has also adapted. Here are the highlights of the patch notes:
- Fixed issues with the Battle Pass on Steam
- Fixed game crashes when scrolling through the Battle Pass
- Holes in the Hideout and Payback maps have been patched
- Nuketown 24/7 is back
- All platforms now have 12 loadout slots
- The “Spirit” perk could not be equipped, despite being permanently unlocked
- Close range kills have a 40% increased range
- Fixed XP Exploit in Zombie Mode (Treasure Hunt Side Quest)
These were the most important, but not all, adjustments with the update. If you would like to see the complete patch notes, you can find them here in English:via callofduty.com.
