The developers spoke out in a large blog post and addressed many of the existing problems. The “Season 2” update is intended to fix most of the problems and make players happy again. When does Season 2 start in BO6?The big update will be released on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. The update should go live at 6 p.m. German time. So you still have until then to complete the current Battle Pass.

Will there be a preload?Even if there is no official information about this yet, players can expect a preload. Up to now, major updates in Call of Duty have always been available to download in advance. The preload usually starts around 24 hours beforehand. The preload for Black Ops 6 Season 2 will probably start on January 27th.
How big is the Season 2 Update?How big Black Ops 6 Season 2 will probably only become clear once the preload has started. However, players can expect an update of around 40 GB - that's how big the Season 1 update was.
