Since the 1990s, Rare has been one of the most famous developers thanks to classics such as Goldeneye 007, Banjo-Kazooie or Perfect Dark. In 2018 with Sea of Thieves, a title still appeared with Sea of Thieves to be extremely popular, for their latest gameHowever, it was suspicious for many years.
So quiet that the Open World adventure has been forgotten since its unveiling over five years ago and that one had to ask the question of whether the project still exists. But as we know thanks to a fresh statement by Xbox boss Phil Spencer.

Again as a reminder:In a first trailer, Everwild scoured as a beautiful action adventure that sends us into a picturesque open Wold full of fantasy. After the announcement of 2019, however, there were large reports, as a result of which creative director Simon Woodroffe left the studio.
According to the sources at the time, Everwild was completely revised under its new game Director Gregg Mayles and the development restarted. Even the orientation of the game is said to have changed - what exactly means is unclear.

Everwild lives, says Phil Spencer
But now the good news:Everwild lives! At least none other than Xbox boss Phil Spencer claims to be personally, who in the current oneXbox Era-Podcastcommented on the game.
"(...)And I can say the other because I recently was with Rare. It is nice to see the team at Everwild and the progress they make."
Spencer replies to the demand that some time has passed since the last info bushes: Spencer:
"That's correct. And we were able to give these teams time for their work what is good and still have a portfolio as we have. It's like a dream that matt (booty) and I have been having a long time, and it's good that it is finally that far. We can give these teams time."
When we can count on the first specific information about Everwild, Spencer left open. At this point it can only be hoped that Rare not only gets enough time for the implementation, but also the necessary resources to develop a real blockbuster. One that at best enters the footsteps of Rare's classics such as Goldeneye 007 or finally Sea of Thieves.
