Release: When does Beyond the Spider-Verse appear?
Beyond the Spider-Verse should actually be released on March 29, 2024-less than a year after the predecessor Across The Spider-Verse. On July 28, 2023, the film was postponed indefinitely because of the SAG-ATTRA strikes.
Since then there have only been sporadic updates. At the end of 2024 the directors of the third part were announced with Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson. At the end of January 2025, Jharel Jerome, who takes on the role of Earth-42 Miles Morales, had oppositeDeciderreveal that he has not yet recorded voicelines:
"We haven't started yet. A bunch of things still have to be clear. But good things."
Most recently hadDeadlineIn December 2024, Sony had “no plans” to publish the third part in 2025. So we can probably with oneRelease at the earliest 2026calculate.
Crunch and poor working conditions:According to a report byVultureAcross the Spider-verse is said to have already suffered from “unsustainable” working conditions. Several employees of massive crunch reported several months and arbitrary changes by producer Phil Lord. More than 100 animators are said to have left the project before the film came to cinemas.
Is there a trailer for Beyond the Spider-Verse?
There is currently no trailer for Beyond the Spider-Verse, so we still have to be patient here. But at least there isThe Spider Within: A Spider-Verse StoryA spin-off short film that you can watch for so long. It deals with the hurdles that Miles have to face in connection with the topic of mental health.

Story: What can we expect in Beyond the Spider-Verse?
There is no synopsis to the Story of Beyond The Spider-Verse at the current time. However, since the second part ended on a cliffhanger, the third will probably start here.
As a reminder:In Across The Spider-Verse, Miles learned that the death of his father was predetermined as a so-called “canon event”. He refused to accept this and fled from the Spider Society to save his dad-but instead he accidentally landed in the parallel universe Earth-42, in which his age ego is the Prowler.
Interestingly, concept drawings to the Spider-Verse indicate that this Prowler may not be a villain. Here it is called “vigilante”. Technically speaking, someone who operates self -justice - the term is also used for superheroes who act outside the judicial system. (viaScreenrant)
Most recently, Bryan Tyree Henry, who speaks the father of Miles, also had in an interviewVarietyAn emotional finale teased:
"It won't remain a single dry eye. I can reveal that much. Good luck. [The film] won't just put a loop on it and complete everything perfectly."
What's next after Beyond the Spider-Verse?
Beyond the Spider-Verse is the end of the trilogy around Miles Morales, which Phil Lord and Christopher Miller had already in an interview in June 2023Entertainment Tonightconfirmed.
Of course, this does not necessarily mean that there will be no further stories in this universe (or rather multiverse) - only that Miles should no longer be the main character. The Spider-Verse has already brought a lot of interesting characters to the screen, the stories of which could theoretically continue in the future. It remains to be seen whether this happens.
