Kakao Entertainmentpublished a contribution on January 21, 2025 about the massive success of the anime series and the webtoon series for Solo Leveling. The company also announces a live action adaptation from Solo Leveling, which is also based on the original novel. The new series is currently still in the planning phase and stage of development, script and production are designed by Kocao Entertainment-not like the live action series for One Piece, which was produced by Netflix!

In this case, the live action adaptation comes directly from the home country of the novel.

More details are still pending

So far there was only the official announcement of Kocao Entertainment. Additional information on the upcoming drama series of Solo Leveling such as release period, streaming service, synchronizations, episode length and number are not yet known.

However, since it is a Korean drama series, there is hope that we will appear on Netflix in Germany. After all, there is a variety of K-dramas in the German version of the streaming provider (short for Korean dramas) and the series from Solo Leveling would fit perfectly.

However, it is important to wait until more precise information about the real film is published and which streaming service will secure the rights for the upcoming drama in this country. But since we already speak of K-dramas and live action adaptations:Which live action adaptation of an anime or manga did your opinion do it right and have you long seen a Korean drama?
