This is like a zombie apocalypse' - Red Dead Redemption 2 player drunk mods all NPCs and it's funnier than it should be

With this mod, Rede Dead Redemption 2 is suddenly less serious.

One of the most popular and fun missionsis the one in which Arthur, together with gang member Lenny, goes crazy in Valentine. The scene now also serves as inspiration for a mod that turns the game's Wild West into a giant Oktoberfest.

This is what RDR2 looks like when everyone is drunk

The streamerBlurbshas created a mod that makes all NPCs in Red Dead Redemption 2 drunk. All the time. Since there are already several behavior and movement scripts for drunk characters in the game, not much had to be changed.

The scripts were "simply" transferred to all NPCs and the result is one big fever dream.

Someone somewhere is always falling brutally on their face and someone is vomiting every minute. Outlaws fall off horses, fall down cliffs and the cities are actually reminiscent of zombie films.

The mod doesn’t stop at the cutscenes either. They are not pre-rendered in the game. The behavior of Dutch and Co. is accordingly entertaining.

Although the opponents stagger around drunk, the mod doesn't necessarily make the game any easier. Companions are constantly dying in stupid accidents, causing entire missions to fail repeatedly. But it's always fun to watch. At least if you don't come from Munich and are used to the sight of Oktoberfest.

Part 1 finally comes to PC:Aside from that, there is more good news for 'Red Dead Redemption' fans. The first part, which was released in 2010 for the PS3 and Xbox 360, is actually coming to the PC at the end of October.

The popular 'Undead Nightmare' DLC is also on board. We can only hope that the version offers more than the mixed remaster that was released for the Switch and PS4 last year.

And at this point the GamePro community is once again asked: What do you think of the mod? Would you like to try them out yourself?
