This is what awaits you in House Flipper
House flippers are people (also in real life) who buy run-down houses, renovate them - usually with a lot of work on their own - and resell them as profitably as possible. And that is exactly your goal in the game. For your in-game budget you buy absolute hovels in which you are initially greeted by rubbish, torn wallpaper and unsavory stains.
As a result, you first have to devote yourself to the major cleaning, then the creative part follows: you paint, wallpaper, move walls, put in new ones, install a shower and toilet, lay parquet and then go wild in the furniture catalog to furnish and decorate.
However, you always have to keep an eye on your wallet and also take into account the wishes of potential buyers, who will tell you what they value.
The goal is of course to have more and more budget available for more and more complex renovations, so that at some point you can buy larger and larger houses and equip them with a lot of gadgets or high-quality luxury furnishings.
If you think it's a shame to have to sell the beautifully designed properties: Don't worry, you can set up your own headquarters in one, which you can of course also decorate and individualize.
You can also earn additional money with commissioned work where homeowners hire you to clean up and renovate. However, you then have precise specifications as to what you want it to look like in the end. If you like this part more, you can of course focus on it.
Who is House Flipper suitable for and who is it not?
You can have fun with House Flipper if you enjoy designing, getting creative and setting up and want a game that really focuses on just that.
Even if hard work that brings visible effects relaxes you, the title could be just the thing for you. By the way, users on Steam rated the title positively in 94% of cases.
However, you might not be happy if you want a story or are bothered by the fact that some elements seem a bit stiff. For example, the preferences of interested parties are not always completely understandable. Or one or two activities are a bit complicated. You shouldn't expect a real banger when it comes to graphics either.
By the way, there is now a sequel:
There are definitely some improvements, for example easier and faster painting of the walls as well as a complete construction mode on the green field. However, you have to pay a little more for this. You pay with a 30% discountcurrently 27.99 euros in the PS Store.
The first House Flipper, on the other hand, is also available on Steam for 2.49 euros. On Xbox, however, it is not reduced, but is included in Game Pass.
Could the game be something for you or do you already know it?
