has received a new booster pack with "light of the triumph". The set with the code name A2A is again a small extension with just 75 different cards. We list six of the decks here, which we currently see as possible metacles.
The following six decks is primarily about how the new cards can expand and improve existing metabacial decks. That is why we list variants here that you may already know, but which may be slightly different than we were used to.

That makes the deck so strong: What did the currently strongest deck in the game need? Anyone who answers with healing is now a troll but is just right. Because you can actually heal more thanks to Perla Kokowei Ex. In order to be able to play the card, you also have toAdd water energy to your pool.
But since you only need a single grass energy for both Celebi ex and Kokowei ex, it doesn't matter what energy you put on the Pokémon. In the best case, this variant gives you 80 kp more damage healing, but you accept that you cannot attack in the worst case if you do not draw grass energy.
PALKIA EX & PERLA
You need these cards:

That makes the deck so strong: If an energy type needed a little more support, it was certainly not water. But still there is now Perla, all of which heals your Pokémon around 40 kp as soon as you have a water energy on it. Together with a robe, it can happen that you can completely tear around a fight at best.
To incorporate Perla into the existing deck, you can either do without Evoli + Aquana or you take out a leaf and a robe. We recommend the variant without a second Evoli/Aquana.
Arceus ex & Dialga ex
You need these cards:

That makes the deck so strong: As before, Dialga is perfect for boosting Pokémon with colorless energy. In theory, Arceus Ex can attack after a short time. With Diam, all metal Pokémon also get additional protection against opposing damage.
Arceus ex & Iksbat

That makes the deck so strong: Iksbat has probably the most exciting synergy effect with Arceus. The Pokémon basically becomes a slightly stronger quajutsu. And as in every Darkness deck, Darkai ex should not be missing.
Folipurba ex

That makes the deck so strong: Thanks to the ability of Folipurba that it can distribute energy in active spot, there are many options for interesting retreat strategies in order to be able to use Celebi up to four energy in the background. It remains to be seen whether this will also work in the right fight.
Barry & Staraptor
You need these cards:

That makes the deck so strong: Since the deck relies on a burst effect with a staraptor and Barry, you can use many other cards away from it. In our variant we still take Arktos ex with Misty and water energy. But other Pokémon are also possible, such as Skaraborn and Relaxo, which work with Barry, or a Pachirisu ex/Zapdos ex-combo. It has to be shown what the best way to use Barry.
It seems to be evident that the current meta-decks are not completely replaced. Because light of the triumph is exactly what it should be: a small booster set for in between. However, it must be shown whether Arceus, Perla or occasionally other cards are used even more in existing decks. However, there are still a few promising cards like Barry or Iksbat.
