How is that possible?Aerodactyl has the attackAntikschwinge, which doesn't cause any damage, but uses two attached energies to decide with a coin toss whether the opposing active Pokémon needs to be shuffled back into the deck. This can be incredibly annoying, especially for fully evolved Phase 2 Pokémon, and may even lead to victory.
Of course, the opposing Pokémon is not automatically considered defeated if it has to be shuffled back into the deck. In this case, jarheadrox00's opponent no longer had any Pokémon on the bench, which is why shuffling the Mewtwo-ex back resulted in defeat.Having no more Pokémon on the field also counts as a defeat.
Aerodactyl can therefore lead directly to victory at the right moment. Nevertheless, you shouldn't necessarily build your deck around the Fossil Pokémon, but rather use it as a tactical bonus.
