InThere are always Tera Raid events where you meet particularly strong Pokémon. This also applies to this new event, where you can not only grab a particularly rare legendary Pokémon, but also a guaranteed shiny pocket monster.
This is what you need to know about the new Tera Raid event
- Pokémon:Rayquaza
- Level:unknown, probably level 100
- Tera Type:unknown
- Event period:from December 20th to January 8th, 2025
Many of the exact details about the Tera Raid are still unknown. So we don't yet know which Tera type or which attacks Rayquaza brings with him. This is because it hasn't been announced globally yet, instead the information can only be found on a leaflet in Japan, like the Pokémon News siteserebii.netreported.
After all, it has already been confirmed that the event will also come to us. According to the flyer, this is supposed to be a global event.
You can also find more current Tera Raid events here:
Rayquaza is already available in Pokémon Crimson and Crimson, but so far you need the expansion "The Indigo Blue Disc" and also have to follow a few steps.
With the new Tera Raid event, the legendary Pokémon from the third generation will not only be easier to catch, but will also make Shiny Hunters particularly excited about it. Rayquaza is guaranteed to be iridescent, changing his normally greenish color to dark gray. So even if you've already caught it in the DLC, this copy is still worth it.
If you're interested in more Pokémon, it might also be worth taking a look at the free mobile game Pokémon TCG Pocket:

The Tera Raid events work like the normal Tera Raids, except that they specialize in special Pokémon and their forms. Besides, they areonly for a certain period of timeavailable.
You also have to unlock the particularly strong 7-star raids, which will probably also include Rayquaza. To do this, you must, among other things, have completed the story of the main game, defeated all arena leaders again and won the academy tournament.
Do you already have an idea which Pokémon you will use in the Tera Raid against Rayquaza?
