“[Both Mass Effect and Dragon Age] are from the studio [BioWare], but Mass Effect is Mass Effect. Bringing a sci-fi RPG to life is different than other genres or IPs… and has to involve a different kind of love.”
Gamble maintains this clear separation from other genres when he refers to theutterancefrom a concerned user who doesn't want the new Mass Effect to go in the same (visual) direction as Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Gamble's words are clear:
“Mass Effect is photorealistic and will remain so as long as I stand behind it.”
So if you liked the visual design of the original games, you can look forward to more like that - hopefully modernized accordingly, of course. According to Gamble, the next offshoot of the series will also beadult toneretained from the original trilogy.

Otherwise, information about the next Mass Effect title is currently still scarce, as this year the focus was particularly on the new offshoot of BioWare's Dragon Age series. Now that part of the development team can be moved away, the focus will likely be on Mass Effect 5.
