My Hero Academia's story actually came to an end with the release of Chapter 430 on August 4, 2024. Although some fans were dissatisfied with the conclusion of Deku's story as a superhero, most of the community accepted the finale as is.

Many months later, My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi announced that there would be another chapter after the finale.

On December 3, 2024, the final chapter 431 for My Hero Academia was released in Japan and Horikoshi gave Deku and his friends a fitting farewell.

Aside from the end of a 10-year-long manga story, a very specific romantic couple has finally officially gotten together after all this time:Deku and Ochaco.

Although the final chapter 431 has only been released in Japan so far and there is no official translation into English or German yet, fans are looking forward to finally seeing the couple together.

Deku seems to have gathered up his courage to confess his romantic feelings to Ochaco in the last chapter. She returns his feelings and an emotional scene ensues between the two lovers.

The last chapter rounds off the story of Deku and his friends once again

In the final chapter of My Hero Academia, the lives of Deku's different superhero friends are shown after the great war against Shigaraki and One for All. Deku still works as a teacher at the university, but also as a superhero.

Bakugo, on the other hand, who was the fourth most popular superhero at the beginning of his professional superhero career, has slipped to number 15 in popularity due to his rude behavior and is now looking for people who want to work with him.

However, he doesn't seem to want just any sidekick at his side, but rather Deku. When the explosive superhero offers his old childhood friend a job at his side, he declines.

In general, the final chapter of My Hero Academia brought many open character arcs to a satisfying conclusion and gave Deku and his friends a completed story.

No official release in English or German yet

Unfortunately, there is currently no information about an English or German release of the chapter, which is currently only available in Japan.
